Shipping Terms

UPS cannot deliver wine to P.O. Boxes   It must be a physical address where someone 21 or older can sign for the wine.
 
All packages containing alcohol must be signed for upon delivery by an adult (21 years of age or older). UPS will not leave packages containing alcohol without a person over 21 signing for it, even at the request of the recipient.
 
UPS will attempt delivery three business days in a row, after three business days, they will return the package or UPS may auto-hold at their facility for pickup if requested by the recipient.  Only the recipient that is listed on the package may pick up with a valid photo ID.  After five days, the shipment will be returned to Somerset Vineyard & Winery.  We strongly encourage you to provide us, whenever possible, with a commercial address for the delivery of your order.
 
Returned shipments will be converted to will call and you may pick up or you may request to have it shipped again – regular shipping rates will apply.  Original shipping fees cannot be refunded.  It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Somerset Winery of any address changes before wine is paid for. Any shipping costs incurred for refused or re-shipping wines are the responsibility of the customer. 
 
Order Processing
 
We ship on Mondays only.  Orders received on Mondays after 1:00 pm PST will ship out the following week, weather permitting.  Orders are shipped via UPS Ground.
 
Hot & Cold Weather Advisory
 
We do not ship in extreme weather!  During hot weather (85 degrees and above) and cold weather (32 degrees and below), there is a high chance the wine will be damaged in transit. We want to deliver a superior product; therefore, we reserve the right to withhold shipping due to inclement weather.  If the weather is too hot (above 85 degrees) or too cold your shipment will be delayed. We do not ship in the summer months due to the heat.
 
Return and Refund Policy
 
Return of Package
If you are unable to sign for your package on any of the 3 delivery attempts, UPS will return your package to the winery. You have the option to have the package held for pick up or reshipped for an additional fee.  Please contact us directly at 951-365-5137
 
The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and federal law state that alcoholic beverages can only be returned or exchanged if the product is spoiled, deteriorated, or contaminated. All sales are Final.
